Leather Belt Course - 13th September 2026

Join lead leatherworker, Naomi, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful, full grain leather belt to fit yourself.  

In a welcoming and creative environment, Naomi will guide the small group through each step of the process, helping you to create and size your belt perfectly.

 

With over 10 years of experience, Naomi will share traditional leather working techniques, including hand saddle stitching, edge burnishing, and the artistry of working with premium vegetable-tanned leather – a material revered for its beauty and durability.  

 

You'll also have the opportunity to personalise your creation, making it truly your own.  

 

What’s Included:

- All materials, hardware and aprons provided  

- Refreshments available throughout the day to keep you energised

- Beginners are welcome!  

- Free on road parking

 

What you need to bring:
- Your lunch

- A warm layer on very cold days.
- A belt you regularly wear.

- Time: 10:30:00 AM – 4:00 PM  

- Location: Fulford, York  (exact location will be emailed out after booking)

- £110pp

- Wheelchair accessible

 

Throughout the day, enjoy free hot drinks and we'll take a short lunch break so feel free to bring your own packed lunch or you can pop to our local, delicious sandwich shop or cafe (opening times vary).
