The 'Powder' (oak) leather belt is totally made by hand, here in York.

Cut using traditional hand tools from a 4-4.5mm thick oak tanned hide from the last remaning British oak tannery.  It takes over 14 months to make this stunning leather before it's finished with a special blend of oils and greases, which bring out the natural colour and qualities in this fabulous leather.  
 
Oak Bark Tanning is a long, gentle process that protects the natural fibres of the hide, unlike modern tanning methods. Using only water from the stream that flows alongside the tannery, oak bark sourced from trees coppiced in the Lake District and Wales, and the best local Devon cow hides, the tannage takes 14 months to produce the leather. The tan pits are constantly agitated by an ancient waterwheel.

The buckle is forged in the UK in the last remaining British brass foundry which had a Royal Warrant to H.M. The Queen.   It's hand cast from solid brass before being secured in place using the traditional hand saddle stitch (or solid brass rivet)... one stitch at a time to make sure this is a belt designed to last.   Choose from a traditional brass, antiqued brass or nickle over brass finish for your buckle.
 
You can choose to have your belt hand stitched using the traditional saddle stitch or you can go more industrial with hand peened, solid brass rivets.  
 
Choose also to add creased edges (lines along the side of your belt) or even personalise it with initials.
